BTP Group’s LV Mechanic Upgrade Program is now open, and applications are welcome for a commencement February 2024. Are you committed to upskilling and diversifying your light vehicle trade to a Heavy Duty Trade Qualification and start/continue a career in mining?
The Trainee Heavy Duty Mechanic is a Permanent Full-Time career opportunity to join our team based out of our Mt Thorley Workshop in NSW on a Monday to Friday basis with 38 regular working hours. In no time you will be able to Repair and maintain a range of mining equipment and plant including but not limited to CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi.
Key Applicant Criteria
- To have completed a Light Vehicle Trade (Cert III)
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence
- Forklift and dogging preferred.
- Minimum 2 years post trade experience
- Commitment to continuous learning and study
- Ability to complete a full Pre-Employment Medical
- Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions.
- Team player who will adhere to and promote BTP’s Values & Behaviours.
