Are you an experienced Diamond Driller looking for your next opportunity? DDH1 is seeking a skilled Diamond Driller to join our team for an immediate start.

 

This is a FIFO position from Darwin, offering a 2:1 roster, short 1.5-hour site flights, and the opportunity to work with industry-leading equipment alongside an experienced and supportive team.

What we're looking for:

 

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

 

  • Previous experience as a Diamond Driller
  • Current HR Licence or higher
  • Certificate III in Drilling Operations (completed or nearing completion)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Experience operating a range of diamond drill rigs, Including Sandvik DE880 DE840
  • A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Desirable tickets include Dogging, Telehandler, and any other relevant work licences.

 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

As a Diamond Driller, you will:

 

  • Operate drilling equipment safely and efficiently to OEM standards.
  • Lead your drilling crew while maintaining a strong safety culture.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on drilling equipment.
  • Ensure drilling operations meet client specifications and project requirements.
  • Train, mentor and support Offsiders and Trainee Drillers.
  • Liaise with clients and site personnel to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, presentation and workplace conduct.
