Storeperson
Are you an organised, hands-on Storesperson who enjoys keeping things moving behind the scenes? BTP is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Storesperson to join our Hazelmere team and support the efficient receival, storage and distribution of parts, equipment and consumables.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse or workshop environment, takes pride in accuracy, and understands how important great stores support is to keeping operations running smoothly.
About the role
As a Storesperson, you will play a key role in supporting our warehouse and workshop operations by ensuring parts, stock and consumables are received, stored, distributed and recorded correctly.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, checking and distributing parts, equipment and stock
- Loading and unloading trucks and courier vehicles
- Supporting stocktakes and credit returns to suppliers
- Maintaining accurate records and completing required documentation
- Operating workshop and warehouse equipment safely
- Keeping stores and work areas clean, organised and safe
- Identifying and reporting hazards, damaged tooling or unsafe conditions
- Working closely with supervisors, trades, suppliers and internal teams
- Following BTP procedures, safety standards and work instructions at all times
This role would suit someone who enjoys being part of a busy team, takes ownership of their work, and understands the importance of doing things safely and properly the first time.
About you
You are dependable, switched on and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly. You have strong attention to detail, communicate well with others and take pride in keeping things organised.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in a similar Storesperson, warehouse, logistics or parts role
- A current Forklift Licence
- A current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- A strong commitment to safety, housekeeping and following procedures
- The ability to follow instructions, ask questions when needed and meet deadlines
Experience using Pronto or SAP will be highly regarded, but what matters most is your work ethic, reliability and ability to contribute to a safe and productive team environment.
You must also be able to meet site access requirements, which may include a medical, drug and alcohol screening, national police clearance and relevant licence checks.
