About the role

 

We are seeking a Specialist, Content Management and Development to join our Training team in Hazelmere. Reporting to the Superintendent, Content Management and Development, you will support the development and governance of a global standard curriculum for Perenti Contract Mining. This role focuses on creating standardised, end-user-oriented learning resources that meet regulatory and client requirements, and that improve safety, productivity, and measurable outcomes across our operations.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Review and optimise existing training and procedural documents using a usability (UX) mapping approach.
  • Revise and clarify learning materials by removing outdated content and improving or consolidating existing resources.
  • Critically review training documentation to ensure content is accurate, fit-for-purpose, and aligned to operational realities.
  • Collaborate with operational and maintenance SMEs to refine and validate content.
  • Support local adaptation of learning materials to meet regulatory, client, and site requirements.
  • Assist with trialling and implementing improved training delivery techniques with operational teams.
  • Maintain governance processes for training procedures and associated learning content (review cycles, approvals, and document control).
  • Contribute to programs that improve data integrity and support assurance activities.

 

About you

Essential

 

  • Demonstrated experience developing and/or delivering training content in an industrial or mining environment.
  • Strong understanding of training standards and how to balance global consistency with local/site requirements.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with SMEs and stakeholders to produce practical, end-user-oriented materials.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Experience in content development and/or relevant industry experience (or equivalent).
  • Strong computer skills.

 

Desirable

 

  • Operational mining experience.
