About our Role

 

Join the Barminco team as a Service Crew member and support our underground mining operations with opportunities available at sites throughout Western Australia. In this role, you’ll play a key part in installing, maintaining and repairing essential underground services. 

 

What will your day to day look like?

 

  • Install, maintain and repair all underground services, including but not limited to air/water/pump lines, ventilation bags, firing line, communications cables, cable bolts, submersible pumps, trailing cables, mono stations and construction of ventilation walls. 
  • Operate the Integrated Tool Carrier (ITC). 
  • Clean and maintain Service Crew stores. 
  • Conduct daily pre-start checks on all vehicles and mobile plant. 
  • Assist the Charge Up crew when required. 

 

Our ideal candidate background includes

 

  • Previous experience working on a Service Crew in an underground mining environment.
  • Current Working at Heights ticket. 
  • Current manual Australian driver’s licence. 
  • Relevant qualifications, certificates, and/or licences (RPL's).
