The Job
Barminco are seeking applications from an experienced Pump Fitter to join our workshop at Hazelmere on a 5/2 non-continuous roster (days only) based on a 49.5 hour week.
Your Day-to-Day
🛠 Diagnose, repair and maintain underground Pump Systems such as Challenge Mono Pumps, Flytgt Submersible Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps, Various Air Operated Pumps.
🔩 Conduct preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
🔍 Carry out fault-finding and troubleshooting
⚙️ Work as part of a close-knit maintenance crew to achieve production targets safely and efficiently
What You’ll Bring
✔️ Trade-qualified Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic (Cert III)
✔️ Proven underground mining or heavy equipment experience
✔️ Sound knowledge of Pump equipment – Challenge Mono Pumps, Flytgt Submersible Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps or similar
✔️ Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship
