This is a rare opportunity to step into a hands-on Property & Facilities Manager role where you genuinely own the site end to end.

Based at our Hazelmere location, you will be the trusted point of accountability for the performance, safety and reliability of all property and facilities operations within a busy, live industrial environment. This is not a desk-based coordination role. You will be highly visible on site, actively managing contractors, maintenance activities and projects while responding to day-to-day operational needs.

Reporting to the National Commercial Manager, you will operate as a standalone manager, empowered to assess risk, make informed decisions and balance priorities without layers of bureaucracy. Your impact will be felt immediately through improved asset performance, compliance, safety outcomes and cost control.

This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, problem solving and being hands-on, while still managing budgets, documentation and stakeholder communication with professionalism.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will bring strong technical capability, practical judgement and the confidence to work independently in a complex operational environment.

Essential experience and capabilities:

Demonstrated experience in property, facilities, building or asset management within industrial, manufacturing or workshop environments
Strong working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret building plans, drawings and technical documentation
Proven experience managing contractors, preventative maintenance programs and reactive works
Project management experience across live operational environments
Sound knowledge of safety legislation, compliance obligations and contractor management
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels and backgrounds
Practical, solution-focused approach with confidence to make repair versus replace decisions
Experience managing budgets, purchase orders, registers and maintenance documentation

Qualifications and licences:

Diploma of Facilities Management
WA Driver’s Licence

Highly regarded:

Trade background
Forklift and/or OH Gantry licences

Other considerations:

Comfortable operating in a standalone role without direct reports
Willing to undertake occasional travel (approximately twice per year)
