Organisation Development Advisor

Due to parental leave, we have a part-time, 0.6 FTE, 12-month maximum-term contract opportunity for an Organisation Development Advisor to join our supportive and collaborative Corporate HR team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the overall success of Perenti through shaping our culture, enhancing team performance and supporting leadership development.
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources and Organisational Development, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the design, development, and implementation of organisational development initiatives that drive performance, enhance employee engagement, and foster a positive organisational culture. Moreover, the OD Advisor is responsible for assisting in projects and activities that support organisational change, workforce planning, leadership development, and culture.
Key Accountabilities will include:
- Coordinate OD projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and resources are effectively managed and by communicating project progress and deliverables to key stakeholders.
- Preparing regular reports for review on key OD metrics, including training participation, employee satisfaction and retention.
- Support workforce planning efforts by assisting in talent assessments and planning for future skill requirements.
- Coordinate leadership development initiatives, such as coaching programs and leadership training.
- Coordinate the delivery of leadership programs, including venues and participants.
- Support initiatives that enhance employee engagement, including gathering employee feedback through surveys, focus groups, or one-on-one discussions to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide administrative support for employee pulse and engagement surveys.
- Assist in the development, design, and implementation of OD programs, policies, and strategies that support the organisation’s goals and improve workforce capabilities.
- Capture training records and maintain employee data to monitor participation and compliance.
- Coordinate our Corporate Perenti Principles Awards program.
Key skills and experience required for you to thrive in this role, will include:
- Tertiary qualification in Organisational Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in an organisational development, HR, or learning and development role in an advisory or coordination capacity.
- Experience with using learning management systems (LMS)
- Familiarity with SucessFactors or similar HRIS.
- Strong understanding of organisational theory, including leadership development, employee engagement, change management, and performance management.
- Ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and work effectively across teams.
- Experience working in a variety of OD areas, including succession planning, talent management, and organisational design, is desirable though not essential.
- Project management skills and experience will be highly regarded.
