About our Role

Join the Barminco team as a Heavy Haulage Operator and play a key role in supporting our vertical development team and be responsible for the moving and transportation of various oversized equipment to multiple sites across Western Australia.   

What will your day to day look like?

• Operate heavy haulage equipment such as trucks, loaders, and ancillary gear.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and basic servicing of equipment.
• Loading, unloading and load restraint of heavy mining machinery.
• Monitor ground conditions and report hazards or changes in environment.
• Work closely with supervisors and other operators to meet production targets.
• Follow mine plans and instructions to ensure efficient material movement.
• Maintain high safety standards in all underground environments.

Our ideal candidate background includes

• Previous experience operating heavy haulage equipment (underground experience highly regarded).
• Strong understanding of underground haulage operations and safety procedures.
• Relevant operating tickets and licences including open class MC and CN.
• Ability to work effectively both autonomously and within a team,
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to safety.
• Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence).
