Ausdrill is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources, Quality and Training professional who is ready to take the next step in their career to lead a high performing small team. Based in Kewdale, you will report to the General Manager and work closely with the Senior Leadership Team providing operational day-to-day support across HR, Quality and Training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the General Manager and the Ausdrill Senior Leadership Team to provide subject expert guidance and support in the development, interpretation, and implementation of HR and QT systems, strategies and initiatives and to support ongoing improvements to leadership and culture in line with Perenti’s Principles.
- Monthly site visits to support continuous improvement in HR, Quality and Training performance by spending time in the field with site leaders providing coaching, mentoring and training.
- Report, monitor and analyse key HR metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement and to provide data-driven recommendations to the wider team.
- Lead a high performing team by providing mentoring, coaching, leadership, and advisory support for HR QT team members as well as office and site-based leaders.
- Collaborate and foster relationships with key stakeholders across the Perenti Group including Corporate and other divisions to assist with delivery of key strategies and initiatives.
About you:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or in a related field. A professional HR certification (e.g. AHRI, CIPD) is desirable.
- Working experience within the drilling/mining/ construction sector preferred
- Able to roll up the sleeves and be involved in a highly transactional business.
- Knowledge and proven experience across a range of general HR areas, including performance management, change management, organisational and job design, policy development, compensation and benefits, investigations and employee case management issues and learning and development.
- Experience in Australian employment and IR legislation.
- Knowledge and experience in the Coal industry is desirable
- Some exposure in negotiating with unions
- Great communicator with demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to influence and drive change.
