About the Role

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in keeping BTP’s operations moving by delivering efficient, end-to-end logistics support across the business.

Based in our Hazelmere office and reporting to the Supply Superintendent, you will take ownership of coordinating freight and materials across domestic and international supply chains. From managing shipments and vendor relationships to ensuring compliance and cost control, you will be at the centre of a fast-paced, high-impact function.

This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential. You will work closely with warehouse, procurement, operations, and external suppliers to ensure goods are delivered safely, on time, and in line with operational requirements.

Success in this role means more than just moving freight. It is about delivering a seamless logistics experience, maintaining high service standards, and contributing to continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar logistics, freight, or supply chain role
  • Strong understanding of import and export requirements, including Australian customs compliance
  • Proven experience managing domestic freight operations across road and air, with exposure to sea and rail highly regarded
  • Background in a warehouse, logistics, or procurement environment, including receiving, dispatch, and packing processes
  • High level of attention to detail with the ability to manage complex documentation and cost tracking
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both internal and external
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of logistics coordination from start to finish

Desirable:

  • Experience using systems such as Pronto and Coupa
