Engineer Systems
We’re looking for a Systems Engineer who is passionate about technology and delivering exceptional service.
In this role, you’ll support and manage infrastructure and cloud platforms, contribute to strategic projects, and collaborate with a diverse team to enhance service delivery.
Key Accountabilities will include but are not limited to:
Infrastructure & Cloud Support
- Support end-user computing, hardware/software installations, and cloud platforms.
- Administer and report on IT infrastructure and security assets.
- Monitor systems using a range of technologies and tools.
- Manage backup and recovery services to maintain system integrity.
- Resolve support requests within scope and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Maintain domains, operating systems, software platforms, and security tools.
- Help develop and maintain IT operations standards and procedures.
- Align technology solutions with Perenti’s services and business needs.
- Enhance the IT service catalogue and coordinate vendor support activities.
- Contribute to data recovery and compliance planning.
- Support innovation initiatives and provide after-hours support when required.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Promote excellence in customer service across all interactions.
- Build strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Gather and act on feedback to improve service delivery.
- Share knowledge and support team development.
- Perform general IT operational duties as required.
Key skills and experience required for you to thrive in this role, will include:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Enterprise technology support role.
- Attainment of or progress toward certifications in Microsoft Azure, VMware, or similar.
- Strong experience with Active Directory, Azure Entra, M365, Intune, VMware, Windows Server, Defender, Backup and Monitoring solutions and end-user computing in complex enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive approach to innovation and problem-solving.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to team success.
