About the Role
BTP is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Field Service Supervisor to join our WA Field Service team.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a driven individual who thrives in fast-paced mining and heavy equipment environments and is passionate about safety, people leadership and operational performance.
Reporting to the Operations Manager - WA, you will play a key role in leading field service crews across site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. You will be responsible for coordinating labour, supporting customers, driving team performance and maintaining strong operational outcomes across your area of responsibility.

What you'll be doing
- Leading and coordinating Field Service teams across multiple sites and projects
- Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with company and customer procedures
- Managing daily labour allocation, workflow priorities and operational scheduling
- Supporting breakdown response activities and ensuring efficient job completion
- Monitoring productivity, utilisation and work quality across field operations
- Building strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Supporting performance management, mentoring and development of field personnel
- Assisting with operational reporting, planning and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring customer requirements are met while maintaining high service standards
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a strong communicator and hands-on leader with the ability to motivate teams and deliver operational outcomes in demanding environments.
You will ideally bring:
- Australian recognised trade qualification within a heavy industry environment
- Previous experience in a Leading Hand, Supervisor or similar leadership role
- Exposure to mining, heavy equipment, maintenance or field service operations
- Strong safety leadership and commitment to compliance standards
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- The ability to manage changing priorities and coordinate multiple work fronts
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of labour utilisation, operational efficiency and customer delivery
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
Desirable:
- Exposure to Caterpillar SIS systems and dealer service processes
- Experience working across remote mining operations and FIFO environments
