Production Control Specialist – BTP Group

 

We are seeking a Production Control Specialist to join our WA Sales Team.  This role focusses on determining demand and priorities for BTP’s products and works closely with our Inventory and Operation teams at BTP Hazelmere to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of products out of our component rebuild workshops.

 

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of successful collaboration between departments including sales, warehousing, and production. Under the supervision of the Regional Sales Manager, your role will be to ensure alignment between demand plans and business objectives. Your Skill

 

  • Experience in a similar role with the heavy mobile equipment industry or related sectors.
  • A component rebuilds and planning background is desired.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
  • Proficient in production and planning software and systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards. A
  • Proactive, highly motivated person with Strong communication and team working skills and a high level of time management.
  • Computer literate with MS Office 365 Word, Advanced MS Excel.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Analysing market trends, sales forecasts, and historical data to develop accurate demand forecasts for Service Exchange production and inventory.
  • Liaise with internal departments plus manage and build key relationships.
  • Monitoring & Reporting on Actual sales performance and forecasted demands to identify and address any gaps or discrepancies.
  • Demand forecasting to key stakeholders, management, sales teams, and production planners.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise core turns and inventory value.
  • Actively promote and contribute to a positive Health, Safety and Environment Culture through leading by example.
