We are seeking an experienced Communications Specialist for our Contract Mining businesses to join our Hazelmere Head Office. This is a Full-Time, Fixed-Term position through to the end of 2026. Reporting to the Communications Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how we communicate, collaborate, and celebrate success. This is your opportunity to make an impact in a dynamic, world-class mining organisation and deliver meaningful, engaging communications that connect our people globally. 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Lead the design and delivery of communication strategies for key initiatives. 

  • Drive engagement through internal communication channels including newsletters, Viva Engage, employee briefings and Town Halls. 

  • Partner with leaders to craft messages that inspire action. 

  • Equip leaders with tools to communicate effectively. 

  • Develop content to amplify our social media presence. 

 

Requirements: 

 

  • Experience in internal communications within a large organisation (mining or mining-related is seen as favourable).  

  • Exceptional writing, editing and verbal communication skills. 

  • Knowledge of communication channels and social media platforms. 

  • Strong organisation and project management abilities. 

  • Video editing skills (desirable). 

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing or Journalism (desirable).
