Charge Up Operator - Bellevue

Barminco has successfully tendered for the exciting Bellevue Gold Project located approximately 40km north-east of Leinster in Western Australia’s Northern Goldfields region. Operated by Bellevue Gold Limited, Bellevue is one of Australia’s highest-grade underground gold mines, achieving commercial production in 2024 and positioned for significant long-term growth.  

This major underground operation combines industry-leading mining practices with a strong sustainability focus, including a hybrid renewable energy power station designed to supply more than 80% of the site’s power requirements through renewable energy sources.  

About the Role  

As part of this project, Barminco is seeking experienced and motivated Charge Up Operators to join the team on a full-time basis, working a 7/7 or 14/14 FIFO roster. These roles are integral to delivering safe, productive and efficient underground mining operations at the Bellevue Gold Mine while contributing to the continued success and expansion of the Bellevue Gold Mine.  

Your role will support underground production within a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement. 

  
 What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like? 

• Carry out development and production charging activities   

• Safely and efficiently handle, transport and store explosives and blasting agents  

• Use products such as ANFO & Emulsion  

• Prepare blast holes in line with site standards to minimise misfires and optimise explosives use 

Our Ideal Candidate Background Includes  

• Previous experience as an underground mining Charge Up Operator   

• Valid and relevant qualifications, certificates and licences, including an Australian recognised Shotfirer’s Licence and Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)

• Strong understanding of underground mining processes and safety standards

• Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence)
