Leading Hand - Engine Rebuilds
We are currently seeking a highly experienced team orientated Leading Hand Heavy Duty Mechanic for our Engine Rebuilds Team in the Component Rebuild Department. We want someone who brings to the table the drive and desire to make a difference to an important project for BTP.
Reporting to the Component Rebuilds Supervisor, the successful individual will support the Hazelmere CRC workshop team by overseeing and coordinating quality repairs, diagnostics and complete engine rebuilds for mining equipment and ancillary fleet.
Key Requirements
- Automotive or Engineering Trade Certificate with Engine Rebuild experience of Caterpillar engines, for example 3500 and C series.
- Rebuild experience on one or more of the following: transmissions, torque converters, diffs, and final drives, wheel groups, would be highly regarded.
- Competent computer skills with experience using Caterpillar SIS preferred.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety measures in the workplace
- Valid High-Risk Work Licence, Forklift and Dogging
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence
- Ability to meet all requirements including Pass a Pre-Employment medical.
