BTP - Draftsperson - Junior Draftsperson

Draftsperson - Junior Draftsperson 

BTP are currently looking for Junior Draftsperson to join our busy, growing engineering office at BTP in Hazelmere. You will have the opportunity to trained by highly experienced team members, with the assistance to reach your full potential.

Reporting to the Engineering Coordinator, you will contribute to the design of transport stands, hydraulic cylinders and other earthmoving components. This is an integral role that will see you support the function and contribute to the team’s overall success.

About The Role:

• Assisting with preparation of 3D and 2D design using CAD software.
• Utilising engineering specifications and standards to perform design tasks.
• Support Engineering Coordinator with design preparation.
• Job pack creation including Bom’ and QA/QC inspection sheets.
• Communicate with engineering team, provide updates and attend team meetings when required.

About You:

• A relevant Tafe qualification, Cert IV or Diploma in Engineering, Design, Drafting or similar.
• Experience in Solidworks and AutoCad is essential.
• Strong desire to build a career as a Draftsperson/Designer.
• A high attention to detail, standards and quality.
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
