We are now taking applications for our 2027 Apprenticeship Program.
Apprentice Plant Mechanic – Drills
Apprentice Auto Electrician
Submissions are open to those in the Perth Metropolitan area who want to be trained by a leading and successful Mining Services Company.
This apprenticeship will see the ideal candidate gain the learning requirements relevant to obtaining their trade certificate through our apprentice program with guidance both in the workshop and TAFE components, through-out the span of the apprenticeship.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assist qualified trades people while learning to manufacture diagnose, maintain and carryout repairs to drill rigs and ancillary equipment
- Adhere to and maintain high levels of safety at all times
- Attend and complete all TAFE study and classroom requirements
About you:
- A string commitment to safety first practices
- Strong work ethic with a passion in the mechanical industry
- Be willing and able to complete FIFO rosters from 3rd year until completion of Apprenticeship.
- Be willing to support site-based operations.
- Be looking for an ongoing FIFO career, at the end of the apprenticeship, working with one of the largest contract drilling companies.
- Completion of year 12 is preferred
- Completion of Cert II relative to trade
- Commitment to continuous learning and study
- Ability to pass the pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Manual drivers licence and own transport
- Current National Police Check upon application
- Ability to complete Aptitude testing
