Are you an experienced Treasury professional? We currently have a great opportunity to join a small and high-performing treasury department in Perth, with work ranging from day-to-day treasury operations, one-off projects and engaging closely with internal and external stakeholders in a multi-jurisdictional and multi-currency complex environment.

 

Reporting to the Head of Group Treasury, you will also work with the wider Corporate Finance team, to assist in carrying out a broad range of treasury duties, predominately managing banking and transactional services administration and treasury reporting. This position will suit someone who enjoys routine in their job role and can hit the ground running to build relationships with key stakeholders, gain familiarity with processes and the complex nature of work that Treasury do.

 

Key Accountabilities:

Support the effective operation of Group Treasury, including:

  • Manage transactional banking, bank accounts, and user access
  • Manage credit card facilities and bank guarantees
  • Prepare and maintain short and medium-term cash flow forecasting and analysis to ensure appropriate liquidity and pooling restrictions are adhered to
  • The administration of internal and external funding arrangements (compliance certificates, drawdown and repayment notices, overseeing intercompany loan documentation and reporting)
  • Prepare Treasury reporting and analysis
  • Support audit processes
  • Process treasury payments and banking transactions
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Budgeting, forecasting and analysis support for Treasury
  • Provide ad hoc finance support and analysis
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Foreign exchange and interest rate risk management support

 

 Key skills and experience required for you to excel in this role, will include:

  • Tertiary degree qualification in Accounting / Economics / Business 
  • CA or CPA (or similar) qualified / working towards completion
  • Prior proven experience working within Corporate Treasury - ideally 5 years’ of relevant work experience
  • Sound understanding of financial markets, accounting, tax, and legal issues as they relate to Corporate Treasury
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Thorough, diligent, “can-do” attitude and attention to detail.
  • A strong interest in developing a long-term career within Corporate Treasury
