Ausdrill are seeking a People & Sustainability Advisor to join our team. This role is responsible for developing policies and strategies that foster a positive work environment, promoting company culture and values. You will assist with embedding of sustainability into our operations.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide a professional, enhanced customer service, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide sound advice to internal stakeholders in regard to HR policies, procedures, legislation and awards.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for all Human Resource functions in the provision of Company policy and procedures.
  • Develop and manage strong partnerships with the People function to deliver valuable, effective, and timely support to the business.
  • Contribute to the development and/or implementation of fit-for-purpose HR projects, processes, and systems to build organisational and people capability.
  • Assist with the embedding of sustainability into our operations.
  • Support the needs of our people and communities, putting safety first and relating an inclusive culture.
  • Focus on sustainable outcomes, applying new technology to enable climate transition and valuing the environment and communities where we operate.
  • Apply long-term thinking and harness our energy and efforts to respond to new challenges and always do the right thing.
  • Care for our people and communities.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area and/or member of a recognised HR Institute.
  • Previous experience in an advisory position.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR systems including ability to analyse and report HR data.
  • Developing positive relationships and a high customer service focus.
  • Excellent advisory and communication skills.
  • Influence and negotiation skills.
  • Business acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Initiative driven and commitment to achieving outcomes.
  • Flexible and adaptable with an ability to multitask.
