We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration Assistant to join our team and provide essential support across a fast-paced mining environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic workplace, enjoys building strong working relationships, and is committed to delivering high-quality administrative support while maintaining a strong focus on safety and operational excellence. We are offering this role on a full time basis, based on St Georges Terrace, very close to public transport.
The role:
- Provide high-level administrative and business support services including document control, correspondence, meeting coordination, and event administration
- Prepare reports, draft documents, and manage day-to-day communications in a professional and timely manner
- Coordinate and manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience for all personnel
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of company events and team activities
- Support purchasing processes, invoicing, and budget administration activities
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, client representatives, employees, management, and suppliers
About you:
- Ideally you will hold a diploma or degree in business, administration, recruitment or a related field is highly regarded
- Experience in administrative roles, particularly in the mining industry, is preferred
- Strong organisational, time management and attention to detail skills
- The ability to multitask and work effectively in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
