About the Role

This is not a passive sales role. As an Account Manager at BTP, you will be the trusted front-line partner to our customers, owning relationships, solving real problems and driving revenue across our Parts, Service and Equipment Rental businesses.

 

You will be the first point of contact for client enquiries in your region, working closely with our Business Development Managers, Operations and Commercial teams to deliver tailored solutions that genuinely add value to our customers’ operations. Success in this role comes from understanding how our clients work, anticipating their needs and being proactive in supporting their ongoing success.

 

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will manage and grow key accounts, develop strategic account plans, and play a critical role in strengthening BTP’s market presence. If you thrive on building long-term relationships, enjoy being customer-facing and take pride in delivering outcomes that matter, this role will keep you engaged and challenged every day.

 

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong blend of technical knowledge, customer focus and commercial awareness.

  • Proven experience in parts sales, account management or customer support within the heavy mobile equipment, mining or related industries
  • Solid understanding of mechanical components used in heavy mobile mining equipment
  • A confident relationship builder who can quickly establish trust and credibility with customers
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate customer needs into practical solutions
  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities, quotes and client enquiries
  • A proactive, self-driven mindset with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Commitment to safety, integrity and professionalism in everything you do
