We are seeking experienced underground Project Manager to work on a 6 weeks on 4 weeks off roster at our newly appointed Project in Senegal, West Africa. Project Managers are fully accountable for the performance of their AUMS operation across all areas including safety, environment & profitability, the role is vital to the success of our business. You will be responsible for providing effective leadership and management, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the project in order to maximise shareholder returns while sustaining excellence in customer satisfaction.

Candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

• Sound knowledge of all aspects of underground mining techniques and the equipment employed.
• Strong inter-personal and leadership skills with a strong team focus.
• Working knowledge of basic economics and financial accounting.
• Capable of establishing, managing, and executing a plan.
• Sound judgement, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
• Understand the complexities and various aspects of managing an Underground Contract Mining scope.
• Experience and understanding of the various aspects of commercial contracts.
• Results and outcome driven.
