AUMS is looking for expressions of interest for experienced applicants to fill the role of Loader Operator/Trainer on a 6:3 roster at our newly appointed Project in Senegal, West Africa.

 

As a Loader trainer, the successful candidates will have Tele-remote, Guidance, MineGem or AutoMine competency. Solid production and development charging experience is also required.

 

Daily Duties inclusive of:

 

  • Assisting installation of AutoMine systems
  • Operation of AutoMine systems
  • Prepping rings for charging
  • Charging down and up holes and VCR of rises, passes and escapeways.
  • Stringing of rises and correct interpretation of information.
  • Dangerous goods certification
  • Shot firing license.
  • Must be prepared to do and be enthusiastic about production charge up training when and as required.

 

As a Tele remote bogger trainer, you will have:

 

  • The ability to work in a small team as part of a high-speed development cycle.
  • The ability to work as part of a large team providing training to national personnel.
  • A high level of competence on large underground LHD’s including CAT R2900 and Sandvik LH621 loaders (iSeries) 
  • Development charging proficiency
  • Dangerous goods certification
  • Shot firing license.
  • Vent and services installation and extension
  • The ability to train Nationals to a high standard of bogging proficiency and road maintenance.
