We are currently seeking suitably experienced Emergency Response Training (ERT) Co-ordinator on a 6:4 at our newly appointed Project in Senegal, West Africa. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and day to day maintenance of Emergency Response & Training functions. You will provide advice and technical support to both contractors and staff, including expats and our workforce of National employees.
Your ability to engage, involve and provide supportive is paramount. Living and working in different countries and adapting to other cultures can be challenging yet rewarding.
Minimum Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in OHS.
- Certificate IV Assessment & Training and the ability to deliver training through multiple media. Trainers will be required to deliver both theory and practical training.
- Ability to conduct quality risk assessments, investigations and report writing.
- Extensive background in the Underground Mining industry, with a working knowledge of multiple disciplines and experience in Mines Rescue is preferable.
- Ability to engage, communicate and influence Managers and Employees including non-English speaking nationals.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
- Minimum 5 years underground mining experience.
