Ausdrill are seeking a suitably experienced Training Advisor. Reporting to the Manager HRQT, the role is responsible for identifying the training needs of all operational personnel, assessing and improving training materials and maintaining the LMS. Experience working with INX is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Learning Management System (INX) is accurate, compliant and fit for purpose.
- Maintain, complete, current and reliable training records in INX to support operational readiness, compliance and reporting.
- Establish and maintain role-based training and competency frameworks.
- Ensure every operational role has defined training needs analysis, required proficiency and an effective training plan before being created or modified in the LMS.
- Maintain workforce compliance and competence assurance.
- Coordinate and conduct workplace competency assessments and audits to ensure employees hold current, valid competencies for their roles.
- Strengthening governance over training, roles and certifications.
- Ensure role profiles, training plans, certifications, and traineeships are current, aligned and consistently managed across operations.
- Improve training quality, effectiveness and accessibility.
- Review, develop and maintain training resources that incorporate varied learning styles and effective delivery techniques.
- Support operational capability through proactive stakeholder engagement.
- Partner effectively with operations, training providers and internal stakeholders to identify capability gaps, training opportunities and development pathways.
- Drive continuous improvement in training systems and delivery.
- Contribute to ongoing training needs, including delivery of targeted training or workshops where required and embedding lessons learned into the LMS and training framework.
About You:
- Significant professional experience within the drilling, mining, or construction sector.
- Sound working knowledge of INX is mandatory.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) – desirable.
- Hold and maintain a current Motor Vehicle Drivers Licence.
- Strong, organisational, time management and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
- Sound IT capability with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
