Quality & Governance Coordinator
Ausdrill are seeking a suitably qualified Quality and Governance Coordinator on a 6-month contract.
Reporting to the HR Manager, the Quality & Governance Coordinator will support the organisation in strengthening and maintaining its Integrated Management System, ensuring audit readiness, document integrity, and regulatory compliance.
This role will focus on preparation for ISO surveillance audits, corrective action tracking, document control governance, and system clean up to improve accuracy, accessibility, and compliance alignment.
The role is operational and delivery focused, with clear accountability for system discipline and audit defensibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- ISO Surveillance Audit Support
- Coordinate preparation for ISO surveillance audits
- Maintain audit schedules and compliance calendars
- Collate, verify and organise objective evidence for auditors
- Coordinate internal audit activities and track outcomes
- Manage corrective and preventative action registers
- Monitor close-out of audit findings and escalate risks
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned to ISO standards
Document Control & System Governance
- Conduct full review and clean-up of existing IMS documentation
- Remove duplicates, archive obsolete documents and correct version control gaps
- Establish and enforce document control protocols (naming conventions, version control, approval workflows)
- Maintain master document registers
- Ensure policies, procedures and forms are current, approved and accessible
- Support migration or restructuring within SharePoint or existing document management systems
- Improve system usability and structure to support operational compliance
Compliance & Governance Support
- Maintain compliance trackers (regulatory, legislative and internal governance requirements)
- Support governance reporting (risk registers, action logs, board-level reporting inputs)
- Assist with development of procedural documentation where gaps are identified
- Provide system training guidance to stakeholders where required
- Identify systemic weaknesses and propose practical improvement
Key Skills & Experience
Essential
- Experience supporting audits
- Practical experience preparing for external audits
- Strong document control and version management experience
- Experience managing corrective action registers
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel and document management system capability
- Ability to work autonomously and drive outcomes
