We are looking for a dynamic Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our team and help elevate our brand through compelling content, strong campaign execution, and thoughtful communication. You will support the delivery of internal and external communications and marketing activities that reflect Ausdrill and Perenti brand values and contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with internal communications, including preparing email content, maintaining SharePoint pages, and supporting leadership messaging to help keep employees informed and engaged.
- Produce clear and accurate copywriting for internal channels, including management‑level email drafts and contributions to the Perenti quarterly magazine, ensuring alignment with key messages.
- Support external communication activities, including drafting content for the Perenti annual report, press releases, and industry articles, ensuring a consistent and professional brand voice.
- Coordinate and schedule social media content across platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook, ensuring posts align with brand guidelines and contribute to audience engagement.
- Assist with visual content creation, coordinating external photographers and videographers and helping gather materials to support marketing campaigns, recruitment efforts, and corporate storytelling.
- Support community partnerships and sponsorship activities, helping identify opportunities that strengthen Ausdrill’s local presence and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
- Coordinate events, including conferences, expos, and staff/client functions, ensuring smooth planning and delivery aligned with company objectives.
- Maintain brand governance, including coordinating merchandise, monitoring logo usage, and helping ensure adherence to Ausdrill and Perenti brand guidelines across all communications.
- Assist with tender content preparation, ensuring materials meet brand and communication standards and contribute to effectively presenting Ausdrill’s capabilities.
- Provide communication support to HRQ, HSE, Recruitment, and Operations teams, helping tailor messages and materials to their needs.
- Update website content, including news articles and capability information, and support SEO optimization to keep the site current and aligned with marketing activities.
- Assist in developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that support recruitment, operational milestones, and brand initiatives.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field (essential).
- A minimum 2 years’ experience in communications and/or marketing, with exposure to content creation, brand application and multi-channel communications activities.
- Basic to intermediate skills in photography and video production, with the ability to support visual content development (desirable).
- Basic design skills (Canva/Sharepoint).
- Working knowledge of digital marketing, including social media coordination, website updates and basic SED principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for storytelling.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive mindset with creativity, curiosity and attention to detail.
- Basic experience supporting tenders or capability statements, or a willingness to learn industry communication requirements.
- Ability to interpret simple data and analytics, such as social media insights or website metrics, to support reporting and continuous improvement.
