About the Role?

 

The Maintenance Co-ordinator is responsible for managing the resources of both labour and assets to maximise utilization and efficiency.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Working with the Drilling Operations Managers to define and deliver maintenance priorities.

• Be accountable for the quotation, cost, and timetable for agreed-upon and planned maintenance for both internal and external third-party customers.

• Be available as required for breakdown advice and solutions.

• Implement a preventive maintenance program. Schedule and coordinate major equipment refurbishments.

• Develop a Preventative Maintenance Plan in line with business needs and goals set by the General Managers

• Track repairs and maintenance on a standard work order system.

• Ensure training, resources, and strategies are in place to provide employees with a safe and compliant working environment.

• Maintain and sustain relationships (customers, employees, DDH1) that position and reposition the business for sustained, profitable growth.

• Communicating DDH1 business purpose, objectives, initiatives, values, and policies in line with DDH1 values and commitments.

• Foster and develop the corporate culture within the business and encourage open dialogue—relay field input to management.

• Work with the Maintenance manager & Regional Manager to achieve safety and financial targets.

 

 

What We’re Looking For

 

  • Trade qualification: Heavy Diesel Fitter
  • Solid understanding of drill rigs (Sandvik preferred)
  • Knowledge of air compression, electrical & hydraulics
  • Confident with computer-based systems
  • HR Driver Licence (preferred)
  • Forklift Licence (preferred)
