We’re chasing experienced Multipurpose Drillers who know their way around a rig without the dramas.

If you've got solid experience with Diamond Drilling (DD) and/or Reverse Circulation (RC), and you’re confident behind the panel of a multipurpose machine, we want to hear from you.

This is a FIFO role working across remote exploration and mine-site locations throughout Australia

What we’re looking for:

• Experience operating multipurpose rigs (DD and/or RC) - DE880, UDR650, Evolution FH3000 or equivalent rigs preferred
• HR licence (or above)
• Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
• Flexible in working BOTH rosters 4:2 (4 weeks on, 2 weeks Off, 2.1 (2 weeks on, 1 week off)
• National Police Clearance
• Cert III in Drilling Operations (completed or in progress) – preferred
• Strong safety awareness and leadership skills

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating drill rig to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and DDH1 standards within a highly regulated operational safety system.
• Ensuring that ‘Duty of Care’ is exercised in all aspects of your own work activities as well as all personnel under your control.
  
  
• Ensuring all personnel comply with current HSE Regulations and site regulations
• Carry out comprehensive inspections and routine maintenance on all equipment on site
• Oversee the correct sampling procedures and ensure core is marked to requirements
• Train and mentor offsiders and Trainee Drillers in safety and rig operations to build skilled, capable drillers
• Executing client drilling programs with attention to accuracy and safety
• Maintaining professional conduct and teamwork on site
