Leading Hand Heavy Duty Mechanic

We are currently seeking a highly experienced team orientated Leading Hand Heavy Duty Mechanic who brings to the table the drive and desire to make a difference to an important project for BTP. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the successful individual will support the Moorvale and or Coppabella crew’s and the wider workshop team in overseeing and coordinating quality repairs, diagnostics and maintenance on mining equipment and fleet.
Key Requirements
- Australian Recognized Heavy Duty Trade Qualification
- Previous Experience working on CAT, Komatsu, or Hitachi mining equipment
- Sound knowledge in Hydraulic, pneumatic, and drivetrain systems
- STD 11 training also S1,2,3 and G2 supervisor training for Leading Hand roles
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence, High Risk Work Licence, Dogging and Forklift, HR Drivers Licence
- Knowledge and application of Occupational Health and Safety in the workplace
- Ability to meet all site access requirements including a Full Pre-Employment Medical and National Police Clearance
