About the Opportunity

As a Field Service Technician with BTP, you’ll be working across a major open-cut operation, delivering critical maintenance, breakdown support and component changeouts on Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment.
You won’t be stuck in a workshop. This is hands-on, field-based work where no two days are the same and your ability to diagnose and solve problems is what sets you apart.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Field-based preventative maintenance and breakdown diagnostics
- Fault finding across powertrain, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Performing component changeouts safely and efficiently
- Working directly with site teams to keep equipment moving
- Utilising CAT SIS and ET systems for diagnostics and reporting
What You Bring
- Relevant Australian recognised trade qualification (essential)
- Experience in a Field Service or customer-facing role
- Strong diagnostic capability across CAT & Komatsu equipment
- Solid understanding of CAT SIS and ET systems
- A commitment to safety, quality and accountability
Highly regarded:
- Coal Board Medical + Standard 11
- Working at Heights / Confined Space
- Dogging / HR Licence
