Job description:
We are actively seeking Experienced Raise bore Drillers to join us within the Barminco Vertical Development Team. This is a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster across various sites. Operators are responsible for the construction of ventilation raises, escape ways, ore passes, stope slots and other service-related excavations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Make sure that the relevant Safety, Mining and other statutory Codes and Regulations are followed.
- Reads and accurately follows mine instruction plans with skill and precision ensuring holes are drilled to design line, gradient, and profile.
- Ensuring inspections and maintenance is carried out on all equipment before use.
- Set up and troubleshoot on Raise Bore RHINO HM100 utilising the new technology.
- Construction of ventilation raises, escape ways, ore passes, stope slots and other service-related excavations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Raise Bore Operator with Rhino experience.
- Manual C Class driver’s license.
- First Aid Certificate, or willing to obtain.
- Dogging Certificate, or willing to obtain.
- Working at Heights, or willing to obtain.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Ability to meet all site access requirements which includes a full pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen and be able to provide a current National Police Certificate.
