Grow with us! We are currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic/HD Fitter to join our efficient and friendly team in our Mackay workshop.
This position is in our equipment rebuild workshop and reporting to the Workshop Manager.
About the Role
- Australian Recognised Heavy Duty Trade Qualification
- Experience working on Caterpillar or similar Mining Equipment.
- Rebuild experience on one or more of the following: Caterpillar transmissions, torque converters, diffs, and final drives, wheel groups, hydraulic cylinders.
- Competent computer skills with experience using Caterpillar SIS preferred.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety measures in the workplace.
- Pre-employment medical, DAS, and valid Driver's Licence and workplace licenses.
- Sound knowledge in Hydraulic, pneumatic, and drivetrain systems
- Good people and time management skills
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence
